Tell us about your show:
L.L. Beef is the only show where... it kind of looks like beef? L.L. Beef is the perfect recipe combining one part music and one part food commentary on all the best vegetarian foods, from 500 B.C. to today. Hosted by Oscar "the Beef" Brown, each episode explores a new veggie food item through history, culture, or personal experience, with music catered to each episode's theme.
Weird/Fun fact:
I've worked many summers in an artisan grilled cheese food truck on the coast of Maine. I'm your guy if you need a grilled cheese.
If you were a music genre what would you be and why?
If I were any genre, I would be dad rock, if exclusively because I wear socks and sandals regularly.
What’s your favorite part of being a part of wrcu?
WRCU is always the highlight of my week; there is something so special about broadcasting that, no matter how bad of a day I'd been having, one hour on the air with some good tunes, great guests, and chill vibes can completely spin a day on its head. The studio is a magical place!
